Trip to Tucson

Blair had a Zeiss dealer meeting in Tucson. We stopped in Kanab on our way down and coming home and spent the night there. Nice little town. We stayed at the Victorian Inn coming home. They served a complimentary breakfast. I would recommend this place if you ever find yourself in Kanab.

I got to spend time with Blair's sister Catherine while he was learning. We went to a movie (War Horse - I recommend it, if you haven't seen it yet.) and then she had me for dinner with her wonderful family.

The next day we walked near the hotel we were staying at. We did that on Wednesday and my legs are still sore today (Sunday). It was a good work out. Then we had breakfast.

It was a nice getaway and I appreciate all the help that was rendered for Sheila's care while we were gone!

We stopped at the Glen Canyon Dam on the way down and the cactus were right outside the hotel room door.

Blair

We're so thankful Blair is cancer free! Here is his gruesome surgery wound. He got half his stitches out on Friday, the others come out this Friday.

Bird Watching

We just came home to see 10 doves out on the back deck area. 5 on the deck, one perched on top and 4 in a nearby tree. I ran for my camara and got a poor quality picture of some of the doves in the tree. When I tried to get closer, they flew away. We've kept the bird feeders filled this winter and have enjoyed watching the birds. Lots of finches, sparrows, doves, woodpeckers, magpies, a hawk now and then, and some starlings.
