Trick or Treat

Halloween

We've sure had a busy week. Sunday, Sheila had a special needs Sacrament Meeting at Sam and Amber's ward. They are some of the most spiritual meetings I've ever attended. I always look forward to them. They sing 3 songs: I'll Walk With You, In This Very Room, and Love One Another. I went to the Elementary two days this week and helped two children with their reading. I planted some bushes and worked in the yard. We went to Market Street Grill on Wednesday with Mom and Dad to celebrate Mom's 70th birthday. I went to the Temple yesterday and did a sealing session. Last night Blair went around collecting for Friends of Scouting, Sheila went to Special Needs Mutual and I went to a bridal shower. I'm going to little Ivan's school class today to help with the Halloween party and tonight is the Halloween Party at Ivan and Catherine's. Tomorrow Hailey gets baptized. Can't believe she is eight years old already. Blair has been super busy. The living room looks like the UPS Store. That's our temporary shipping and receiving department. We're thankful he has work to do and hope it continues. I've been painting Charlie's old bedroom. I hope to finish today. The weather here has been super nice and a much needed storm is due in this weekend. Love you all and hope you have a fun Halloween!

A Complaint Free World...

I'm trying not to complain. It's a bad habit. I've read and re-read the book "A Complaint Free World. How to Stop Complaining and Start Enjoying the Life You Always Wanted." Here's a good thought from Maya Angelou: "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain." Another from Stephen Hawking: "It is a waste of time to be angry about my disability. One has to get on with life and I haven't done badly. People won't have time for you if you are always angry or complaining." "Do all things without murmurings and disputings." Philippians 2:14. Good Advice.

We had a nice surprise when we woke up this morning.

Twilight Series

Wow! I just finished the series of books. Thanks Andrea and Heidi for letting me borrow them. Andrea, I hope you got your books back. They were very good ... and hard to put down. Blair is glad I finished. I don't think he likes my nose in a book for too long, especially when he'd like to talk with me.
