Oscar and Zoey

Well it was bath day for the dogs. I took them to the groomer and they look so much better. First thing they do when they get home though, is roll around in the dirt or grass to try to get the clean smell off. I went out to pull weeds this morning at 6:00. I found lots of snails. I even crunched some as I walked through the grass. I gathered about a fourth of a bucketful. They're everywhere! I threw them in the garbage, and if they survive the heat they make their way to the top. I'm posting a few random shots of the yard and garden. I love this beautiful earth.

More Pictures

Benji had the camara and took picture after picture. I laughed my head off at the pictures he took. My foot, Blair's ear, his arm. The dog's tail, the bed, on and on. A few of the pictures he took of James and I turned out. The others I erased. I've also included some pictures I took.

Another Marathon Day

I went with my friend Linda today. We went to Kohl's, Bath and Body, Christopher and Banks, her dental appointment, Deseret Book, a video store, Chipotles for lunch, and the Cotton Shop. I was good and only bought lunch and some lotion. It was fun to get out and enjoy the day.

New Pictures

I took these pictures on Sunday. We look forward to having the kids and grandkids visit.

Big Event

Blair got home from the Big Event last night around 11. It is always good to have him back. He sure enjoys scouting and the youth. He and his group taught the "On Target" class. They put together some signal mirrors and showed the scouts how to find the targets. Sam went with his ward Varsity scouts. I think they all had a good time, even with all the work of packing and unpacking. There's just something about going out camping and being with your friends and associates and forgetting about the day to day.

We just got back from Stake Conference. It was good! The theme was on testimonies. We sure enjoyed visiting with old friends from the other wards after the meeting was over. We got to see the fireworks from the South Jordan Town Days when we got home. We had the perfect view from the back deck.

LIFE IS GOOD!

A Good Day

I went to the Elementary school to help 2 young boys with their reading. It was a good day. They only have 1 week left in the second grade. They have progressed in their reading, which is exciting. When I got home Karen and Sheila got their bikes out and rode through the neighborhood. Heidi, Benji and James stopped by. I wasn't able to visit too long, because I was off with my friend Linda. We went to lunch at Gardner Village, went to Xpedx, the Book Cellar, Harmons, and Roberts. I'm now on my way to the church for a class on cooking with wheat. I'm taking some cracked wheat chili over. There will be other dishes as well.
