You've had a birthday, shout hooray!......

Sheila turned 44 yesterday. She kept waiting for that BIG party. It never happened. She even thought there would be a surprise party. Poor girl. But thanks to family and friends, she had a most incredible day. It started Sunday, with a nice fellow in church. He brought her a pretty pink wrapped gift. Then Tuesday morning another neighbor dropped off a card. David took her to buy Waltons season 6 then we went to lunch with our Aunt Edith. Upon our arrival home, a family from the ward came by with balloons and a gift bag full of presents. Then our visiting teacher stopped by with treats, then another ward member a card and gift. Two cards came in the mail. Bob and Muriel stopped by. More gifts from family and then we had a nice dinner followed by birthday cake and plenty of Happy Birthday singing. Joan and Judy came last night and I'd say she had one happy day. She went to bed with a smile on her face knowing how much she's loved. Blair and I got to do sealings at the temple tonight. It was nice. I bought some shrubs at Lowe's today. Sarah let me know of a new shipment that came in. I bought 9 shrubs and a beautiful perennial plant. I can't remember the name, but it attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. I'm doing a little bit of clean up work in the back. It was like a jungle back there. Way too overgrown. The nights here are starting to cool down. It is awesome. I got up around 5:30 this morning and opened the windows to let the cool air in. I'm going to close with a quote from Elder Eyring: "The great test of life is...not to endure storms, but to choose the right while they rage." Love you all!
